5-9, 155-pounder showed an ability to catch w/ intriguing present exit velocity. Short, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, upper body projection. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ hand rhythm into knee to knee stride and deep hand load. Load can get a little loose, hands move a long way and can create some timing issues. Has an idea of how to use his lower half to generate bat-speed. Lot of line drives when on-time and stays through the ball. Flashes loft, projectable gap power. As a receiver, presents a solid target w/ no glove rest, quiet. Can get a little high in his stance. Developing behind the plate, learning how to beat pitches to spots, how to catch them, how to stick. Developing fore-arms. As a thrower, shows developing footwork, arm action, learning how to get his body moving towards second base when he throws.
