Ethan Ogle, Halls High School (TN), 2028 Positional Profile: C/3B Body: 5-9, 160-pounds. Developed lower half that has some present muscle mass that should also continue to fill out as he matures. Hit: RHH. Very wide setup with the feet, that is slightly closed with the front side. Favors the back side weight wise, and sits into the rear knee greatly. Hands start behind the back ear, also above the shoulder. Shifts weight completely onto the rear leg, as the front leg lifts onto the ball of the foot. Hands resist forward movement well with some stretch before launching. Finishes on the back leg with a tendency of the front leg to lift up on the end. Deep turn of the barrel allows the bat to match the path of the ball very well, driving the ball into the gaps with line drives. Accelerates throughout the swing with a long finish.
Arm: RH. C-70 mph. Over the top arm action from a higher and shorter slot with present arm strength. Defense: 2.00-2.10 pop times. Works well through the baseball with clean footwork and quick transistions on throw-downs. Blocked well with clean and mobile hips. ATH: 7.57 runner in the 60. 7.57 in the30 yard split.
