Lucas Banks, Liberty Creek (TN), 2028
Positional Profile: RHP/C
Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Long limbed and lean which projects very well to more size and strength.
Hit: RHH. Wide stance with his knees bent and back hip pre-loaded. His hands begin relaxes on his back shoulder with barrel behind his head. Gets to a solid position at launch with some separation as his hands go from a lower launch point. Bat stays through the zone well when he gets loaded all the way, has a tendency to rush his load and not get his hands all the way loaded. Beating the pitcher to load will allow him to put his hands into the ideal position every swing. Does a very good job at spraying barrels from gap to gap when on time, that will play extremely well as he gets stronger. 68.3 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 80.3 mph. 282' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-70 mph. Developing arm strength. Firm throws with on-target carry.
Defense: 2.07-2.25 pop times. Works off of one knee down, developing feel for blocking. Comes around the plate at times with minimal forward ground gain going towards seond.
ATH: 7.62 runner in the 60. 1.80 and 5.30 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
