Balanced swing with a quiet body using backside well, barrel stays through the zone well and kets hands work. OF showed promise, fundamental mechanics with a long arm in back, 79 mph arm. Carter behind the plate posted pop times between 2.02 and 2.15 and 79 mph throws.

The left-handed hitter has a smooth hack with relaxed rhythm and short stride that allows him to repeat his swing with relative ease, while a strong top hand finishes the barrel. He drove the ball with gap power, but expect to see more in the future with a 92 mph exit velocity. Behind the plate, he posted a top velocity from the crouch of 73 mph with pop times ranging from 2.18-2.26.

Carter is an athletic, left-handed hitting catcher that threw out two runners during the game. Smooth load, fast-twitch hands and a loose finish produced an exit velocity of 87 mph. Posted pop times of 2.02-2.15 with a top velocity from the crouch of 74 mph. Lean-strong build at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds.

Uses a knee to knee load as he triggers his hands down and back before striding out, walking away from his hands, creating good separation at footstrike. Loose hands, uphill path, quick bat with natural lift, middle of the field approach and an exit velocity of 80 mph. On the infield, Blackwell has a quick first step and long strides as he ranges to his glove side. Soft hands out front on routine plays. Throws from a ¾ slot 78 mph across the diamond.
