Morrill has a lean athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 155-pounds, and his movements show that there is a lot of projectability in both strength and speed. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash, was up to 87 mph off the tee for exit velocity readings, and he put on a nice display in BP with his easy swing, clean rhythm, and solid contact. In the field he has good glove skills, smooth transfers and makes accurate throws, 89 mph across the field. On the mound there is some length in the back side, and his athleticism takes over out front. Fastball was 82-83 and topped 84 mph, spun a 66-67 mph curveball and 72-74 mph slider, and showed a 71-73 mph changeup.
