Weaver had himself a very solid day in all phases on Sunday. The LHH 1B/LHP displayed some solid glove work around the bag at 1st. At the plate, the high waisted lefty had an up the middle approach and was geared for more line drives. With some added strength and change to his approach, Weaver could grow into some power as well. On the mound, Weaver was 81-83 and filled up the strike zone with a High ¾ arm slot. He flashed an avg. change up as well that played nicely off the Fastball. He also threw a mid 60’s Curveball. Weaver has plenty of upside left, and with some added strength to the lower half he could make some big jumps in the next year
