His fastball topped out at 87 mph once, working mostly in the 84-86 range. Ball gets on hitter quickly as Fontenot has some deception in his delivery. Shows good feel for spin with the ability to throw a both a sharp 1/7 curveball with depth at 70-71 mph, and a slider/cutter at 74-77 mph.
