6-foot-3 170-pound frame, 7.00 60-yard dash. Right handed swing with an exit velocity of 88, shows potential of power, uses backside well and has good rhythm in hands, gets through with lower side well. OF work showed 85 mph throws and clean footwork. Off the mound, Cole threw his fastball from 79-81, Curveball 65-68, and changeup 68-71.

Provided some intriguing looks. The 6-2 175-pound junior moved well in his 60, clocking a 7.01 with long intial strides from his lanky body. From the outfield he has compact actions, quick release and an 85 mph velocity. From behind the plate, he is once again compact with his movements, quick to transfer, and makes accurate throws at 76 mph and 2.11-2.18 pop times. Cole works from the first base side of the rubber when he pitches, gets good direction out of his back leg as it carries him down the mound, and he has a high rotational release with his elevated ¾ slot. His fastball has consistent arm side run, working 79-81, that he showed good control of. He worked a 65-67 mph curveball that had good depth with 11/5 shape, and a 68-70 mph changeup that faded to the arm side and had good action down the middle.
