Uncommitted. Fuentes continues to physically develop each time we see him. On the night, he had two hits including a double to LF with a short stroke to the ball. Behind the plate, he framed pitches well at the top and bottom of the zone for strikes. He will be a 2024 catcher to keep an eye on moving forward.Â
Young catcher showed a lot to like moving forward. Showed a 1.97 POP for his best on the day as well as multiple nice blocks on the day in the game. Fuentes is another just scratching the surface of who he can become behind the dish.
