The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Adams showed a good athletic foundation in his movements around the park. He ran a 7.18 60-yard dash and roped balls around the yard with hard contact from the right side, including a home run and he posted a top exit velocity of 92 mph. He has a very long torso that will help in the adjustment of leverage in his swing. At 1B, Adams stays over his feet well, recieves the ball out front, and made clean throws at 79 mph.
