Positional Profile: RHP RHP…stuff to like…strike thrower, arm speed will increase. Good build/frame to add strength. Opportunities for delivery adjustments to help with efficiency of delivery. Flashes feel for secondary. Interesting to see how adjustments help stuff in future.
Body: 6-1, 198-pounds. Big body, width to back and shoulders. Thickness present middle and lower. Lower shows some now strength, great frame to add needed strength.
Delivery: Stretch only, does a good job of loading into back leg. Stride leg goes past midline to plate, opening hip early. Heal lander with slightly open toe. Avg finish. Would like to see stride leg/hip not open as much, landing with flat foot and not opening. With work, easy adjustments.
Arm Action: RH. Arm works, shows some arm quickness present. HTQ slot with solid finish. Arm speed/quickness will come with added strength.
FB: T83, 80-82 mph. Tail, tail/sink action to FB. Solid plane down in zone, marginal carry up. Strike thrower. Expect velo to increase in time. T2105, 1915 average rpm.
CB: 63-66 mph. Slow, soft, early break CB. Must learn to throw this pitch with arm speed, slows, hindering effectiveness. T1953, 1826 average rpm.
