5-foot-9, 170-pounds. The left-hander works from an over the top slot with a short arm stroke. His fastball sat 72-75 mph, flashing arm side sink. Changeup has heavy sink at the bottom of the zone from 66-69 mph. Curveball has downer shape with gradual break at 67-69 mph. A two-way player and left-handed hitter, O’Neal starts from a slightly closed stance with his feet turned inward. Loads back as he picks his hands up and triggers his hands up into a front arm bar. Short, controlled stride, lands with separation. Flat path with quick, strong hands and top exit velocity of 84 mph. In the outfield, he plays through the ball with soft hands, and an easy gather that allows him to make accurate throws with a top velocity of 77 mph to the dish.
