The day we were able to see Jackson, he was his typical self right from pitch one. The Aggie commit was 90-93 mph in the first inning and 88-89 mph in the second with command to both sides of the plate. Jackson also mixes in a breaking ball from 70-73 mph and change up to go with the fastball but relied heavily on the fastball the day we were able to see him. Jackson always pitches with great tempo and pounds the strike zone with multiple pitches. Look for Jackson to be the anchor of the 2022 Lake Travis pitching staff once again.
Positional Profile: 3B
Body: 6-foot, 145 pounds
Hit: RH. Balanced setup with a leg kick. Long, level bat path flashing good bat speed.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity off the tee
Arm: RH. INF-84 mph. Long arm swing from a ¾ slot.
Defense: Good footwork with a clean exchange, good fielding position.
Run: 7.24 runner in the 60

FB: 77-81 mph, flashing arm-side run and command to both sides of the plates.
CB: 65-68 mph with 11/5 shape, showed the ability to bury in on lefties for ugly swings and misses.
5-foot-11, 140-pounds, wiry right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. At the plate, hits from a balanced set-up, hands stay quiet through load, slight leg kick into short stride. Short bat path, stays inside and on top of the baseball. Posted an 78 MPH exit velocity off of a tee. On the infield, early glove presentation, plays through the baseball with some tempo. Long and loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Threw 79 MPH across the diamond. Ran an 8.04 in the 60-yard dash. As a pitcher, Jackson has long levers that help him get down the mound. Fastball topped at 79 MPH, thrown for knee-high strikes. His offspeed pitches include a curveball at 65 MPH and a fading changeup at 69 MPH.
