He addresses the baseball with a quick bat that minimizes any need for extracurriculars and during batting practice, Morgan hit a home run off the Sam Houston State scoreboard. It was the kind of prodigious shot that forced all in attendance to look at the person next to them and ask “did you see that?”. In the outfield, he moves well for his size and showed the ability to play through the baseball. Even with an outfield velocity of 87 mph, a tweak in his arm slot could provide even more carry.
