One of the more physically impressive looking players on Saturday was Kendrick. The 6’4 righty has an imposing presence on the mound. He showed a simple clean delivery that had his fastball top out at 86. He paired his fastball with an above avg. change up. He threw it with good arm speed and it came out of the same slot as his fastball. He also had an avg. breaking ball as well. As the velocity rises, I expect Kendrick to be one of the more talked about uncommitted 23’s this Spring/Summer.

Body: 6-foot-4, 195 pounds.
Delivery: Simple, controlled delivery, slight drop and drive delivery, lands square to the catcher, consistent release point/landing spot.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, high ¾ slot.
FB: 81-85 T86 mph. Flashed arm-side run, strikes to arm-side.
CB: 75-79 mph. 11/5 shape, flashed strikes to glove-side.

Arm: RH. INF - 83 mph. Short arm action, good carry to the bag with accurate throws.
Defense: Clean footwork getting into fielding position, fields the ball in rhythm towards his target with a quick funnel to release at times.
