Short, direct path to get the barrel on plane early and stay inside the ball with quick hands. Creates lift with a high, loose finish and explosive lower half. Huerta flashed pull side power and strong contact, driving the ball to left field multiple times during batting practice. On the infield, Huerta works low to field the ball out front with soft hands. He has a good first step with fluid footwork and clean exchange. Throws from a high slot with some effort, good accuracy and carry at 86 mph across the infield.
