Hyper-athletic at 5-foot-9, 178-pounds, Thompson did well across the board. Posted a 6.91 60-yard dash, had a loud day at the plate with powerful contact, up to 97 mph exit velocity off the tee, the ball seems to explode off the whippy barrel. Very aggressive play in the outfield, showed strong arm up to 91 mph.

He has an athletic swing with a smooth load, gets into his legs in his load, and has a very flat barrel path with a low finish below the front shoulder.
