04.12.17 Really solid catching skills. Receives the low fastball very well. Glove pops routinely on Fastball. Sets up low with good hip flexibility. Shows strong arm that takes some effort. Likes to throw. Plays the game with energy and calls his own game. Pop times were 2.0-2.1. Fundamental footwork and blocking mechanics, keeping the ball in front of plate. Offensively, the left-handed hitter has some loft in his swing, stayed on ball vs. LHP. Right now he is a spray hitter that competes at the plate. Look for this talented young player to get a lot of attention from college recruiters in the future.
