The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Schott had a good day at the plate, spraying balls around the park in BP. He has an loose, athletic stance with good natural rhythm, gets extended well into contact and the swing projects well to add in power with the already solid bat speed. 94 mph exit velocity. Nice showing in the outfield, was quick into the balls, showed carry in his throws, and visible arm speed, up to 89 mph. Also ran a 6.93 60-yard dash.

At 6-foot, 185-pounds, Schott is a confident two-way player. On the mound, the left-hander works from a low-¾ slot with a quick arm swing. His fastball was 81-84 with arm side run, and he spins his breaking ball at 67-70 mph with 2/8 shape and more lateral break. A two-way player and right-handed hitter, Schott has simple rhythm with a balanced leg kick and repeats an aggressive hack with relative ease and a loose finish. Barreled it up during BP, posting an exit velocity of 91 mph with gap power and more to come. In the outfield, he plays through the ball with relaxed rhythm, smooth footwork and clean exchange to throw with a top velocity of 81 mph.
