USA CNT: Relievers are typically not chosen on Day One of the draft, but Neighbors could be an exception. The strong-bodied, electric-armed right handed reliever has outlier stuff with three swing/miss offerings from an over-the-top slot. His 94-98 mph riding fastball, a late, hard-biting breaker at 84-88 and high-spin, upper-80s cutter. Neighbors is likely to be one of the first college relievers to come off the board next year with another dominant season after his elite performance in 2023 with K State, posting a 1.85 ERA and 86 strikeouts in 49 innings. He also held opposing hitters to a .134 batting average and .238 SLG%. For the CNT he made four appearances, allowed no runs on three hits with one walk and four strikeouts.
