Solid strength in his hands with raw power, he drove several balls deep to centerfield during BP, working on an uphill path to lift the ball with an exit velocity of 88 mph. Simple transfer as he rotates to contact, staying behind his front foot as the barrel extends through contact. At first base, Holder flashes soft hands into a clean exchange and threw 76 mph across the diamond.
