Positional Profile: OF/1B RHH INF/OF Will add good strength in future. Solid defender with versatility in future. Like the upside to bat/power combo. Developmental opportunities present at plate. Fun player to watch develop over next couple of years.
Body: 6-6, 180-pounds. Long/lanky build. Will have really good build as he fills out and adds strength.
Hit: RHH. Upright stance, lands in good position to hit after stride. Rotational back foot, does solid job of using lower 1/2 with ability to add more lower. Drive back hip/lower 1/2 forward into firm front side. With length of stride, try to develop some linear movement forward. Right shoulder bends over right hip creating uphill path, causing swing and miss. Get more upright. Barrel starts vertical with hands pushing back. Launch position creates length and loop to swing. Get barrel in vicinity behind back of head and take direct path to hit zone. Think know of bat is flashlight, light should be pointed in direction of catcher at launch. 68.8 mph bat speed with 22 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 80.2 mph. 312' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in futrue. Hasn't started to scratch surface of what he can do at plate. Development opportunities present to achieve. Time, patience and work will lead to success.
