Positional Profile: OF/1B LHH/OF Will add strength in future. Project to be solid defender in OF with good arm strength. Like the future bat/power combo with adjustments and add physical strength. Chance to develop into solid offensive player.
Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength in the future. Very projectable body.
Hit: LHH. Short stride, lands in good position to hit. Rotational back foot limited use of lower half. Work to drive lower 1/2 forward developing ability to impact baseball. Recommend trying to develop some linear movement to lower, this will increase lower 1/2 efficiency and ability to impact baseball. Upside to impact/power with adjustments. Hands/barrel start at good position. Hands drop down with stride, barrel goes vertical, costing bat speed. Work to keep hands shoulder high to start swing, this will allow ability to get on plane. Also, work to keep barrel with some angle to start swing, preferably behind head. This will allow efficient swing. 67.8 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 83.7 mph. 300' max distance. Project solid bat/power combo in future. Opportunities for adjustments present approach and swing are close, but not maximizing abilities at this point. Nice upside with changes.
Arm: LH. OF-88 mph. Arm works, shows developing arm speed, will continue to improve.
Defense: Moves well to baseball. Breaks down well to field, good exchange between glove and hand.
