Positional Profile: SS/2B Solid tools with couple of opportunities to improve. Will gain strength physically. Solid approach to hit with ability to find barrel, nice bat/power combo.
Body: 5-8, 164-pounds. Good build/frame for future strength. Well proportioned.
Hit: RHH. Starts with feet wider than shoulders. Slight weight shift into back leg to initiate toe tap stride, lands slightly closed, doesn't gain any ground forward with stride. Rotational back foot that slides slightly away from home plate with movement. Fair use of lower 1/2, can improve lower 1/2 use with forward movement of back foot. Can work away from plate on pitches away, with middle/in would recommend forward movement. . Hands/barrel start in solid position. Slight downward movement with hands to starts swing, does a nice job of getting on plane creating line drive contact. Fair bat/speed. Looking for increased bat/hand speed with added strength. 67.5 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 78.5 mph. 320' max distance. Solid bat/power combo, opportunities present for adjustments to hit approach. Will show some pull side raw in future with added strength.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. OF-86 mph. Arm works fine, shows near avg arm speed, can improve with long toss program.
Defense: INF..solid footwork, gets body into position to field. Avg 1st step quickness, feet work well with initial step. Fields baseball deep, can field baseball out front more, avg job of playing thru baseball. OF…moves well to baseball, solid footwork fielding baseball, feet work fine throwing.
ATH: 6.93 runner in the 60. Runs well, avg quickness to start.
