A short compact fire hydrant type build that is strong, yet needs to lean out and really watch his frame to not get too big for his age. Has arm strength and present impact at the plate to generate hand and bat speed, with the ball jumping off the bat. The swing is on plane and flatter through the zone to make consistent contact to all fields. Shows 96 mph EV and consistent hard contact with the ability to drive the baseball through the gaps. Defensively shows educated feet, although slow in his first step quickness and the agility part of the game needs to improve as he leans out and taps into the twitchy part that shows flashes. The mound features a max FB of 82 with high spin rate to the CB 69 in the 2,400+ range. The CB has swing and miss tendencies and shows the feel to land and bury. The biggest improvement will come with dedicated strength and agility focus in the gym and watching his weight, so that he can tap into his tools and free up the movement patterns in a more efficient way.
