Positional Profile: RHP/1B Has come fast and it doesn't surprise me, with his ability to control his massive size, working with Justin Abbott and Mike Gargano, not many have the infrastructure in place like Madden to learn from not only elite HS coaches, but they both pitched professionally in the Rangers/Cardinals orgs!
Body: 6-4, 293-pounds. A massive individual with country/farm boy strength. Physical Comp: former longtime MLB pitcher in the 70's and 80's named Rick Reuschel…2026 leads to opportunities to shed some size and be more athletic in his delivery and movement patterns through his delivery.
Delivery: Conventional upright stand at address with a simple med kick to delivery and shows baseline mechanical movement patterns that allows for quality instruction to reach his projections.
Arm Action: RH. HTQ arm slot, with a clean arc to acceleration. Gets near quality finish out front, as he should strive for a flat back at finish and follow through.
FB: T89, 82-89 mph. FB plays avg with near avg spin to the FB, but at the next level, the movement profile should be the focus and how his FB plays in the zone to setup the secondary T2267, 2120 average rpm.
CB: 70-74 mph. CB plays slightly up, due to quality separation between the FB/CB combo. With a 2400+ spin rate, the CB is tight and provides HTQ shape and definition with depth. T2874, 2752 average rpm.
SL: 74-77 mph. T2410, 2341 average rpm.
CH: Two pitch type reliever profile, as he didn't feature a CH in his time on the mound.
