A two way player with upside on the mound. A lean athletic immature frame that can add a quality 20-25 Lbs of weight and added strength with maturity, but must maximize the gym and strength training as his main focus right now. If he really wants it, the frame will allow the strength training to take hold and his velo should drastically improve. The delivery is a paint by the numbers and methodical with a high kick to his gather. The arm works well with a HTQ slot and solid release thru the slot with ext out front. The FB touches 81-82 with more to come and lacks spin as the FB shows more GB type sink and kills the spin. The CB is his weapon of choice and should be a feature pitch as it features a spin rate of 2,606 max and can land and bury with HTQ tilt and considerable depth to get below the barrel. Quality pitch that he should focus on as an out pitch. Also features a SL that mirrors the CB, yet differentiates off the CB with a spin 2,491 and needs to pick one or the other, to develop over the other. The CH 75-76 shows some kill to the spin and delivers this off spear pitch at 1,603 with late fade and sink. A 4 pitch mix that should simplify to a 3 pitch mix with fair spin to the FB and quality spin to the secondary. One to keep and eye on as he continues to develop and add strength.
