Small compact frame with filled features and looks the part of a fire hydrant type catchers billed. Upright semi flexed knees from an open standup stance. Hands close to the body, and over the back shoulder. Lean back to load and separate the hands/barrel upon stride and foot strike. Features a short tight compact stroke to hit, into a tight non-whip two hand swing finish. Well below avg arm with need to add arm strength to carry the bag from behind the plate, and on its way to 2B. In the middle, shows soft hands with a good open glove presentation and gets low to the glove, yet lacks first step quickness and lateral agility. Will continue to monitor and follow over the next year.
