A solid overall athletic build with length to his body and a solid/firm look to his lower ½, to give promise for a potential physical look as he gets older and matures. The delivery and arm action lend itself for considerable added velocity moving forward. The operation features a compact high kick and breaks over the rubber to allow for his arm to sync up and create proper timing. Not all the way there yet, but the base is exciting to think of where he will be in the next few years. The arm stroke is quick and pure through release and the arm works properly. A high end FB of 80 right now is where he should be at his stage of development. It’s the type of visual look, that one can see the ease of his movement patterns, that velocity is not far off. The FB is a 4 seam straight variety to control the pitch currently, yet repeats enough to show area control. The CB and CH are his best offerings right now, as the 66 mph CB has significant tilt and TW shape with depth and throws it for K’s with 2,200 rpm spin and as he gains another 10 mph, which is in there, look for added spin rates that could explode in due time. The CH 74 shows feel and kills the spin with deceptive FB arm speed with late fade and sink. The spin of 1,348 is elite and allows for potential swing and miss tendencies now and moving forward. It will be fun to see where this all goes as he continues to add strength and develop physically.
