Miller is 5-7 with a lankier athletic frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, big leg kick stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing, some strength at contact point and gets some extension through the ball, showed primarily a pull approach with the ability to use the whole field, some power present to his pull side, exit velocity was 87. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with above average hands, works through ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action position velocity was 70. Ran a 6.90 60 yard dash.
Preseason All-State II
Miller is 5-7 with a lanky frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an upright open stance, leg kick stride on line, loads back, hips rotate completely, has some balance during his swing. Short to contact, keeps hands inside ball, strong at contact point with some extension through ball, level line drive path, showed good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 82. In the infield, quick feet, rounds ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands. Plays through ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 65. Home to first was 4.19.
