PreSeason All-State East
Roszko is 6-2 with a strong athletic frame. He hits from the right side from an open relaxed stance, strides on line, loads down and back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, power present in all fields, swing generates a lot of carry, exit velocity was 97. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base with average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short quick arm action, position velocity was 82. On the mound, he throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, longer loose very quick arm action and higher effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a slight fall off finish. Fastball was 83-87, touching 89, with some riding action and a bit of late armside bore to it. Curveball was 66-69 with good armspeed and late hard 10/4 break to it.
