Mullins is 6-4 with a lanky 175 pound frame that has a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open taller balanced athletic stance, strides on line, short load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, uphill swing path with strength at contact point and extension through the ball, has long levers, showed a pull approach with natural loft and some power present to pull side, exit velocity was 90. In the infield, gets body behind the ball and fields with a average hands, works through the ball with a clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 74. Showed versatility working out in the outfield as well. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and on line, lands on line with a slight fall-off finish. Fastball was 72-74, touching 77, with some downward angle and bit of boring action to armside. Curveball was 62-65 with some armspeed and big gradual 1/7 break to it. Change-up was 66-69 with good armspeed and some late armside run.
