The Shenandoah commit had a timely two RBI single in the fourth inning that put Colgan ahead. Reached base all three times with a HBP in his first at bat and a walk in his last at bat. What stood out most about Pickette was his receiving behind the plate. Turned multiple borderline pitches into strikes. Beat pitches to the spot and showed strong hands with solid blocking skills. Arm appeared to be average/above average with a clean exchange. Overall thought he did a really nice job handling Knox and contributing offensively in a big spot as well.
