PreSeason All-State East
Plishker is 6-0 with an athletic frame that has strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, loads down and back. Hips rotate with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill swing path with some extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap, generates some natural loft in the gaps, some extra base power present, exit velocity was 84. In the outfield, gets body behind the ball and fields through it with average hands, quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, long loose arm action, position velocity was 84. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, long free quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish and recoil. Fastball was 79-82, with some downward angle and a bit of late sink to it. Curveball was 65-66 with some armspeed and sharp 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 74-75 with good armspeed and some late fade.
VA/DC Limited Series East
Solid frame with some physicality and projection left to it. Repeatable low effort delivery and works from an over the top arm slot. Arm circle was short and hid the ball well showing some deception. The fastball sat 79-82 and touched 83 a few times with ability to play at both ends of the zone. Changeup displayed arm speed and feel around the zone at 71-72 mph. Did not appear to trust the breaking ball as much as the fastball and changeup, but it showed bigger 11/5 shape at 62-64 mph.
