This was a big game and Green came ready. We have seen Green three times this spring, but this was the best sustained velocity that we have seen out of him. Fastball 86-89 early on and flashed a few 90's. In the seventh Green was still sitting 87-89 mph. Green showed the ability and endurance to pitch deep into games with his low effort mechanics and arm action. The slider was a solid out pitch and showed nice arm speed and some depth at 78-81 mph.

Lanky projectable frame. Longer free arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. Creates fast arm speed while pitching with some effort. Fastball has later life on the pitch up to 88 mph. Breaking ball has a bigger 11/5 shape with some depth to the pitch. Some rawness in delivery, still coming back after injury last year.
