3.22.16:  Schneider is an athletic outfielder with a projectable frame. He gets good jumps in the outfield and takes good routes with speed. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a loose, strong arm, and a quick release. At the plate, Schneider hits from the right side from an athletic stance. He has good rhythm with a smooth load back, striding on line forward. He has an explosive lower half with good balance throughout his swing. He has lightning quick hands with elite batspeed, generating home run power to all fields. He is short to the ball with very good extension and uses the entire field. 

6.24.15 Hit from a balanced and athletic stance that was slightly open.  Fluid rhythm with a smooth load back.  Abbreviated leg kick stride that stayed on line.  Lower half exploded to the baseball.  Good balance throughout swing.  Explosive bat speed with a bat exit velocity of 89 mph.  Good approach to the round.  Short, level swing path with good extension.  Gap-to-gap hitter with pull power.  Swing has the components of an elite hitter.  In the outfield, he threw from a high ¾ arm slot that was short.  Throws were accurate.  Positional velocity of 87 mph.  Soft hands with clean footwork that played through the ball.  Exchanges were quick and clean.

2.22.15 Hit from an open stance that had good rhythm. Smooth load back with a slight arm bar. Stride was short with good balance. Lower half exploded to the ball. Displayed explosive bat speed. Exit Velocity of 89 mph. Short and level path the ball with good extension. Line drive stroke with gap-to-gap power. From the outfield, he threw from a loose ¾ arm slot. Throws had accuracy and carry. Displayed soft hands and fluid footwork that played through the ball.

Fall Top Prospect Games (UVA):  Schneider is a 6-foot-2, 180 pound, Outfielder that hit from a tall athletic stance with high hands. At the plate, Schneider had a slight inward turn and stayed through the ball through extension. He was short to the ball and created a lot of bat speed with the 87 mph Exit Velocity.  He showed the ability to have power in the future. In the field, Schneider has the speed to remain a center fielder but the arm strength to play the corner outfield positions. He's a good runner and a plus athlete with an above average arm (84 mph).
