Woodel is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, low leg kick stride on line, minimal load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, uphill line drive swing, gets extension through the ball with natural loft to swing, showed a good approach working primarily gap to gap, gap power to all fields with some home run power potential to pull side, exit velocity was 89. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands, works through ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 73.

Strong projectable frame standing around 6-foot. Woodel had some solid AB's on the day for the Indians showing comfort in pitcher's counts and a solid fundamental approach. Hits from the right side with a fairly square athletic stance, hands have a small load with a slight bat wrap, and foot lands slightly open at stride. Bat is short to the ball and swing path has slight uphill tilt, but shows some line drive tendency. Barrel stays through the ball on contact and displayed ability to use the entire field hitting the ball where it is pitched. Got into a 0-2 count in his first AB and delivered a line drive single to right field. Defensively is solid; takes nice angles on approach, showed a clean exchange with a shorter arm circle, and average arm strength.

Bat gets on plane early with line drive tendency and a high finish. Head stays quiet and behind the barrel on contact. Finishes the lower half completely with an exit velo of 86 mph. Active feet on approach with solid glove presentation and fields slightly right of center. Clean exchange with a short arm action throwing from a three-quarter arm slot at 72 mph across the infield.
