Hoffman has a compact athletic frame. Stood out on Tuesday night at the plate. Was 3-3 at the plate with two runs scored. Hits from the left side from an athletic setup. Easy fluid swing with feel for the barrel. Does a really nice job staying inside at contact and takes what is given. Had two singles back through the middle and a double to left center in his second at bat. Really like the hit tool that Hoffman displayed on Tuesday night and has a chance to contribute offensively early on at Marymount.
