Stanley has a long and lanky athletic frame with room to grow. The right-handed pitcher has a controlled delivery with an higher leg kick getting into his backside. He has a has a sound, quick arm action with a high elbow lift and creates fast arm speed with regular effort. Stanley pitched 85-86 mph on the day and the fastball showed later run action occasionally on the pitch. The breaking ball ranged 71-74 with more of a slider type low 11/5 shape and gradual break. The pitch looks like it should get better as he develops and has the ability to be a put-away pitch. Stanley still has plenty more in his tank as he adds innings and adds strength to the frame and looks to be a very interesting pitching prospect in the 2020 class.
