Athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds. Hits from a slightly open set up. Short load with wrist turn getting barrell over head while getting to hitting position. Short bat path with some bat speed. Showed extension through contact and got better as BP went on. Smooth actions in the field. Feet are active and hands are clean with quick exchange to release. Solid defensive actions and as foot speed improves, could stay in the middle. Shorter arm action. Solid overall player and one to follow.

Boone is 5-11 with a lankier athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open upright athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back, hips rotate completely with some violence, and he maintains some balance during his swing. Very short and quick to ball, showed good approach working gap to gap, slightly uphill line drive swing, strong at contact point, has chance to add power as he adds strength, exit velocity was 82. At short, active quick clean feet, rounds ball and fields with soft quick hands and a good wide base. Works through ball to a quick clean exchange. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 81.
