8.9.17: Michna is 6-3 with a lankier athletic frame, drop and drive delivery and throws from a drop down sidearm slot. Short quick arm action and normal effort. Shoulders on line, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 78-81, touching 82, with heavy late run to it. Slider was 75-77 with late hard 10/4 break and some depth, threw it with good armspeed. Change-up was 73-74 with good armspeed and heavy sink to it.

1.18.16: Michna’s mechanics have improved dramatically during the offseason. He stands a lanky 6-3 and throws from a high-three quarters arm slot with a loose, quick arm. Michna commanded his fastball well with good downward plane, sitting 77-80. His change-up was thrown with good arm action and sat at 72.
