Hyde has some projection left to his frame and throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Average armspeed throws with normal effort. Fastball touched 75-76 a few times early, settled in to 73-75 for the game. Had a rough first inning but did a good job of attacking the zone the entire game and not being afraid to go after hitters,didn't walk anyone. Breaking ball was 70 with some gradual break, changeup was 69-70 with good armspeed and heavy fade. Did a lot better when pitching backwards later in the game. Has some more in the tank and competes on the mound, and he's lefthanded.
