Cole has an athletic frame, listed at 5-foot-9 and has some projection left. Low effort, slower paced delivery and is in control of movements throughout. Controls the pace of the game. Direct to the plate from the stretch and does a nice job trying to slow down the running game with runners on. Short arm circle and works from a three-quarter arm slot. Started for Lafayette and threw three shutout innings. It was a fastball/changeup mix with the fastball sitting 76-80 mph with feel for it to the glove side. Cole missed with the fastball up and to the arm side when he tried to go to that side of the plate. He did show an above average feel for a 64-67 mph breaking ball, but did not use it a ton.
