Carpe is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, small load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, quick to the ball, uphill swing with some strength at contact and extension through the ball, showed a pull approach with some power present that way, exit velocity was 89. Behind the plate, quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 70 and pop times 2.03-2.07. Ran a 6.95 60 yard dash.
