Stands around 6-foot-2 with an athletic frame. Carmichael hits from the left side with an athletic on line setup. Small leg lift load and lands closed with hands back. Swing has distinct uphill path and can be a bit steep at times. Displayed ability to hit to all fields and has some gap to gap power, but would like to see more consistent contact. Is a solid runner on the bases with some instinct. Defensively covers ground well from the corner outfield spots.
