Quigley is 5-9 with an athletic frame that has strength present and projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, loads in place. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, very short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, has some strength at contact, showed a good approach using the whole field, has some power present in the gaps, exit velocity was 86. In the infield, rounds the ball and fields with a good wide base with above average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, long arm action, position velocity was 75. Ran a 7.46 60 yard dash.
Compact frame and makeup standing 5-foot-8, 145-pounds. Ran a 7.72 60. Hits from a square athletic stance, hands set high, and direct stride forward landing on line. Minimal hand load, short to the ball, and had a level path to contact. Gap to gap line drive approach and lower half finished completely. Exit velocity was 77 mph. Active feet on approach in the infield, glove presented out front, and soft hands to catch. Clean centered exchange, short arm action, and flashed ability to throw from multiple slots with comfortability. Positional velocity was 65 mph across.
