Preseason All-State II
Sebasteanski is 5-11 with an athletic frame that has some strength in his lower half and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, short load back. Hips rotate and he maintains some lower half balance. Keeps hands inside, slightly uphill swing path, some extension through the ball and strength at contact, exit velocity was 75. Behind the plate, shows some sway receiving, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters slot with a short arm action, velocity was 70 and pops were 2.22-2.35.
Strong frame standing 5-foot-11, 195-pounds. At the plate he starts with an open athletic stance, hands are relaxed and flow into load, and uses a simple stride forward landing square. Gets on plane early with a slight uphill path to the swing. Finishes through extension with some strength through the zone. Showed some pull side power potential in the swing. Exit velocity was 78 mph. Behind the plate the feet worked through the catch, clean centered exchange, and a short arm path. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a positional velocity of 68 mph. Pop times ranged from 2.13-2.29. 60 time was 7.87.
2019 Diamondskills All-American Camp
5-foot-11, 185-pound strong frame. Open athletic setup striding in line. Hands trigger late, but a short quick path allows him to get barrel out front. Bat path has some tilt to it and showed the ability to hit for gap to gap power with an exit velocity of 82 mph. Stayed behind the ball well and finished through extension with balance. Behind the plate was quick on transfer with a high exchange point to a short quick arm action from a low three-quarter slot at 65 mph. Throws were consistent around the bag, but added arm strength and consistently finishing backside through throws will help pop times that ranged from 2.20-2.25. 60 time was 8.10.
Underclass Games
Sabasteanski is 5-11 with an athletic frame that still has projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short leg kick stride on line, quiet load, hips rotate completely, maintains balance during swing. Short to ball, slightly uphill swing path, showed pull approach with a line drive swing, exit velocity was 67. Behind the plate, clean exchange, gains ground towards second. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, catcher velocity was 65, pop times were 2.23-2.32.
