Leonard has a thin lanky 5-foot-11 frame with room to add strength. He started behind the plate where I thought he did a really nice job receiving and handling Oliver and Prince. Hands are relaxed and show some strength at the catch. Worked well at the bottom of the zone, turning some borderline pitches into strikes. Was able to work outside of the ball on pitches on his arm side and work them back in with ease. The arm is average. Did not get any chances to throw in game, but between innings throws were low and in line. Like the glove behind the plate and should continue to improve with added arm strength.

Leonard is 5-11 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, two touch stride on line, small load back to a wrap. Hips rotate and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing, showed a pull approach with the ability to use the whole field, exit velocity was 75. Behind the plate, gains ground during exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, longer arm action, position velocity was 71 and pop times 2.13-2.17. Showed some accuracy on his throws.
