The South Carolina commit stands 6-foot-4, 190-pounds. Projectable frame, high waist, and a well put together 2025. Dudley has one of the more polished, repeatable deliveries you will see from a freshman. Normal effort, long stride that lands on line, and arm gets up on time. Short, clean arm action and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. The fastball sat 82-84 mph during his first three innings of work and touched 85 twice. Dudley showed two breaking balls, a curveball and slider. Had a better feel for the 1/7 shaped, 69 mph curveball that he threw for strikes. He reeled off a couple of 74-75 mph sliders, but he did not have a feel for the zone. The changeup sat at 78-79 mph with average feel and present arm speed. Dudley was not afraid of contact and was very efficient around the zone, especially early in his outing. This is a high ceiling arm that should continue to make gains as he grows into an already advanced frame and delivery for his class.
