6-foot-2, 180-pound proportional long frame. On the mound, showed above average arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle with a longer arm action. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays uphill shoulders with an consistent balance point. Lands square with balanced finish. Sat with his fastball at 76-79 mph with a max of 81 mph; showed control around the zone and gradual action. (Max spin 2018; Avg 1890). Threw his 10/4 curveball (68-69) with decent control and slurvey action. (Max spin 2037; Avg 1921).
VA/DC PreSeason All-State Central
Evans is 6-2 with an athletic 180 pound frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. On the mound, he throws from a three-quarters arm slot, longer free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly uphill and closed, lands open with an athletic finish and recoil. Fastball was 80-81, with some downward angle and heavy armside run that also gets a bit of depth. Curveball was 66-68 with some armspeed and gradual 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 75-76 with good armspeed and heavy fade.

Delivery: Controlled side step delivery with smooth tempo.
Arm Action: RH. Clean arm circle. NIce arm speed through release. Regular effort.
FB: T78, 75-78 mph. Fastball shows natural run to the pitch with occasional slight sink.
CB: 64-67 mph. 12/6 shape to the pitch with proper shape and some depth.
CH: 70-71 mph. Slight fade action on the pitch.
